Historia
Commander O’Shaserra, better known as Shadowsun, is an ice-cold military genius celebrated across the Chalnath Expanse. She is the master of the stealth battlesuit assault and the Kauyon metastrategy – a philosophy of war that emulates the Patient Hunter. But how to lay a trap for the Chaos-worshipping warriors of the Death Guard, whose ancient technology allows their fleet to rip holes in space? And how to deal with their daemonic patrons, who defy the laws of physics and shatter the logical methods that Shadowsun holds so dear?

OK story ruined by the voice actor.
Revisado: 10-17-23
Constant breathy voice from the BA made it sound like shadowsun is always either panicking, out of breath or in some other way incapacitated. It's really distracting and doesn't help prop up an already shaky plot. Because you know nothing can happen to a female main character for a faction, there are never any threats that aren't defeated with comical ease.

Historia
Before the being called the Emperor revealed himself, before the rise of the aeldari, before the necrontyr traded their flesh for immortal metal, the world was born in violence. Even when they inhabited bodies of flesh, Trazyn the Infinite and Orikan the Diviner were polar opposites. Trazyn, a collector of historical oddities, presides over a gallery full of the most dangerous artefacts - and people - of the galactic past. Orikan, a chronomancer without peer, draws zodiacs that predict and manipulate the future.

Flawless delivery
Revisado: 10-08-23
Excellent delivery of a story that does almost nothing to advance the overall necron lore or plot. Whilst there's a lot of excellent world building, the story is let down by a rather disappointing ending that brings the entire story back to square one by the end. Still worth a listen.

Story improving. Performance still top notch.
Revisado: 09-10-22
As per the title. The story is getting better, the familiar "if I had known what we were going into, I would have done something else" sees repeated use which can irk. Sets up some questions to hopefully be answered in later books.
