Finding the balance that has grace for others while honoring self-advocacy is powerful in communication. Having a place to stand and the words to give that voice moves conversations forward. The advice that Jefferson Fisher generously provides in his well grounded, kind and self assured way brings together powerful intent, civility, humanity and humor. I have decades of training in leading programs and working with people, and I have found his conversations to be of tremendous value for myself. I want Jefferson Fisher's conversations to be heard World-wide, by as many people as possible. it would give humanity a much better chance of moving forward at our highest potential.

Never been so happy for a book's last 5 min!

I enjoyed the continued expansion of the story and the widening of the viewing lens. As in past books, I found little easter eggs of wisdom and chuckled more than a few times at parallels that occurred as parables to ponder. DON"T LISTEN AHEAD, but know the last few minutes made the end of the book worth it being over and having to start the wait for the continuation of the adventure to be downloaded out of TheFirstDefier's head and delivered out of Pavi Proczko's mouth.

Easy to listen to and I learned so much!

This is the second book by Siddhartha Mukherjee that I have listened to. This book and "The Gene" were easy to listen to and to digest. I so appreciate the way he writes. I found myself really drawn in and interested with subjects that are very outside my knowledge set. I will be listening to the Emporer of Maladies next!

Enjoyable Reading

This book had a nice balance of twists without being difficult to follow. It was an easy read, but enjoyably designed. The final twist was short as compared to the journey there. I wish this last part of their story had not ended as quickly as it did. Hopefully we will get to see the story continue. I am definitely wanting to hear more about the characters!

Never long enough!

I mean that as a total compliment. Very good story. These novellas give a great fill in of characters that can get a little lost in a larger novel and create new lines to follow going forward. It will be great to see how this character evolves with the rest of the story.

In the mind of the mage

Reflections and drawing the lines between the dots. As an appetizer for Marshall Arcane, we get insight to the inner workings of our favorite mage's mind as he sets us up for what is likely to be a new adventure in the upcoming book. Took a bit to stick with the magi monologue, and internal landscape, but these new characters embedded in his mind are hopefully going to get fleshed out even more in the future.

A lot to wrap my brain around, in a good way.

It's a complex story. After reading the first book and the prequel, I can say that there is a lot to digest. I am looking forward to the next book to see where this goes. Before it comes out, I will be rereading both all three again.

Glad I started the series

Through the first book and am glad there are several more into which to sink my teeth ;~). Garon Whited created a story that, for me, is a perfect mix of action, humor, relationship building and thought provoking situations, which deepen and expand as the story goes. The narrator, Sean Runnette, just joined the not too long list of narrators I will keep an eye upen for, as he performs very well in bringing rich life to the characters.

Remarkable Experience
