A passable recording of my favorite classic.

I love this book! This version is more abridged than I would have preferred. The narrator did an excellent job but the sound quality of the recording varied.

I was thinking and I think I found 2 tiny flaws in the book

One thing I noticed is when the red electric girl found all that gold and silver and stuff, I realized that they also had someone who had the same ability as Ian. So wouldn’t that person be able to find the gold and silver just as easy or even better than the girl who can sense it because he can see everything for miles. I was just wondering about that. But over all that was a great book. One other thing I thought about was that at the end of the book when Cassy came to save Michael vey with her team that she brought, wouldn’t the red electrics have caught them before they got there because they can hear and see for miles.

What stood out most to me was Jaron’s love for Imogene

One thing that I liked is at the end when Jaron and Storm put ink on everyone’s finger for them to wake up as a disaster. One thing I didn’t like at all and something Jaron also didn’t like was when Imogene Kissed Caster just to make him trust her a little more.

It was alright.

you definitely don't want to read this book if you don't know all that's happened before. Otherwise it feels like your catching the very end of the movie without know who the villain is or an ounce of the characters and what's happened so far. It very much feels like the end of a series, which it almost is in a way...
However my biggest problem was how much expectation is placed in Bolas. He's this all powerful Elder Dragon who's prepared for everything, but as the Gatewatch and bad of heros begin to unfair his plans their met with little to no opposition in doing so. Bolas kinda just sits there and watches it happen.
I'd say it's pretty fun for Magic fans but overall not the best written one.

amazing story, but wrong narrator.

I've loved listening to the Fablehaven books since I was a kid, and Dragon watch is everything I remember and more. I love all the new things I am learning about this world Brandon Mull has created. The only thing that bothered me was the narrator Kirby Hayborne. He is a good narrator, but he just can't follow up E.B Stevens who narrated the Fablehaven books.

This story is a classic. One of my favorite books. Good Christian principles in a lovely children's story. It brings out the inner child. The narrator does a great job.

Family Favorite

I love this series. This finally was great. My boys and I really enjoy this story.
Things I liked:
Seth really does try to be good but in learning to make good choices he makes mistakes. I like his honest stubbornness.
Kendra's character is fun to follow. I'm so glad the author did not make her relationship with Bracken weird.
I love Newl and Dorin. (Hope I spelled those right) Long Live FritoLay!
The Creatures are all fun. The adventures are awesome! The characters are captivating!
