Historia
On his last combat deployment, Lt. Cmdr. James Reece's entire team was killed in an ambush that also claimed the lives of the aircrew sent in to rescue them. But when those dearest to him are murdered on the day of his homecoming, Reece discovers that this was not an act of war by a foreign enemy but a conspiracy that runs to the highest levels of government. Now, with no family and free from the military's command structure, Reece applies the lessons that he's learned in over a decade of constant warfare toward revenge.

The Future is Bleak, Get Ready!
Revisado: 02-10-21
JL Bourne follows up on his excellent "Trilobyte" story. Against what seems like hopeless odds against insurmountable enemies, the characters must find ways to win and survive. Let's hope this is more Sci-Fi than anything humankind's future holds! Great narration by the multiple narrators bring more realism to this series as well. I highly recommend all of this author's work and look forward to more.

A new spin on an old genre.
Revisado: 02-10-21
A refreshing angle on the werewolf genre, this book was great! Blackmore is an awesome author. It's hard to put my finger on it, but this story felt 'real'...Not a special-effects driven sci-fi lycan story, but a dark, gritty and visceral tale of weres in Canada. Highly recommended!

So you wanna prepare for the 'pocalypse
Revisado: 02-10-21
Excellent premise and execution. There is more to surviving than just having a gun that you never shoot and some canned goods in your pantry. This author deep-dives into multiple facets of survival and as a humble student, shares his experiences with us. Mixing in the training he went through along with nippets of a fictional apocalypse, this recipe works.

Derek Martell finds himself on a contract job in Iraq when the newly formed Islamic Caliphate unleashes a genetic weapon - to devastating effect. Eighty percent of the non-Arab global population is wiped out overnight. As Derek and his crew struggle to escape the Middle East ahead of an expected nuclear counterstrike, questions plague him. Why are military personnel seemingly unaffected? How far-reaching is the weapon? And is there still a United States to return to?

A More Realistic John Wick, if you will
Revisado: 01-05-21
Fun, fast, and very violent story. The main character may blur the line between good and not-good, but some problems require less-modern solutions. The antagonists in this story may seem a bit extreme, but all one has to do is a little research to realize that deplorable evil is unfortunately among us. It's a good thing that capable men stand ready to reign this evil in. Can't wait for a sequel.

Excellent Follow Up
Revisado: 08-20-20
Tomorrow War set up the story, Serpent War finishes. Max [Redacted]is surviving, but is surviving enough? Many of the negative reviews here seem politically motivated. Don't let that persuade you. The Tomorrow War premise is not all that far fetched, all you have to do is study history, add the technological advances we have, and ask if Tyrants wouldn't use every advantage they could. Buckle up, it's a bumpy ride.

#RESIST #FIGHT
Revisado: 08-13-20
Hopefully not a true vision of America's future, Tomorrow War was well written and narrated. I read it upon its release five or so years ago and just now listened to the audio production. The vision seems more likely these days. This story is well read a secondand third go-round. Bourne's style lends to realistic scenes and information. The protagonist is not bulletproof and has a conscious. This is a Must Read.

Great Perspectives to get you Disciplined
Revisado: 02-25-20
Short read, but focused on the topics. Self Discipline is where it all starts for our personal successes. I plan on listening to this multiple times. If we assess where we have not succeeded as individuals, I'm sure we can pinpoint our errors as a lack of self discipline.
