Long and pointless. None of the characters were sympathetic. The relationships did not carry the action but were confusing and unconnected.

Beautiful recreation of a little known part of America's story, tied to the life of a 21st century girl. The author lets the story unfold slowly weaving in a new story of Molly's dramatic life. The narrator captures the characters and adds to the listener's understanding as she weaves through almost 100 years of American life. We loved this book!

Al. He made the most incredible premise believable.

Lots of development, no finish.

What would have made In the Woods better?
Pages upon pages of description that did little to move the story along.
What was most disappointing about Tana French’s story?
No resolution at the end.

Fought to the end of this book only to find the finish equally disappointing.
