Historia
For decades, American politics has been plagued by a breakdown between the Democratic and Republican parties, in which victory has inevitably led to defeat and vice versa. Both parties have lost sight of the people at the center of the American electorate, leading to polarization and paralysis. In Where Have All the Democrats Gone?, John B. Judis and Ruy Teixeira reveal the tectonic changes shaping the country’s current political landscape that both pundits and political scientists have missed.

Too many stats. The last chapter condensed it nicely.

The stats especially from the past were a bit tedious. No where was there any mention of how to get the party elites to become more moderate and mainstream, and able to win again.

Great advise for everyone and it is never too late
Revisado: 05-31-24
The first half of this book was difficult. I felt quite depressed and a bit doomed by the message. The author goes into the ways that the human body can fail, too often without an inkling that it is even going on. His solutions often seemed to require early intervention steps that seemed extreme and if you weren't aware you were sure to pay the price.
His analysis of the medical system was spot on referring to Medical 2.0 vs. Medical 3.0 often through out the book. Once again we are doomed for ill health due to the medical system's inability to discover those issue that will result in an early death, lingering poor health or both.
The second half of the book went into great detail about the general ways to keep the "four horsemen" (health conditions) at bay and hopefully live a long and healthy life.
