Matt found a way to erase his past regrets. He was an average guy who was pissing and moaning his way toward retirement. Like many people before him, he often wished things had gone differently for him. Be careful what you wish for!

I was good, right up until the ending. (SPOILERS)
Revisado: 06-06-23
This works as a thought experiment. Though, at a certain point I realized the science behind it mimicked Quantum Leap. However, instead of doing good deeds and having a companion help along the way, Mr. Dunsratty spirals into a horror story. Everyone suffers in this story. No one is redeemed. Even likable characters are forever ruined after having only briefly known the main character. It's so unlike EVERYTHING Craig has written before that I was waiting for a punchline that never came.

Historia
July 25, 2234: The crew of the Adamura discovers the Anomaly. On the seemingly uninhabited planet Talos VII:a circular pit, 50 kilometers wide. Its curve not of nature, but design. Now, a small team must land and journey on foot across the surface to learn who built the hole and why. But they all carry the burdens of lives carved out on disparate colonies in the cruel cold of space. For some the mission is the dream of the lifetime, for others a risk not worth taking, and for one it is a desperate attempt to find meaning in an uncaring universe.

Love Paolini. HATED this story.
Revisado: 06-01-23
There is so much possibility. So much hope. And, consequently, an exponential amount of disappointment. I loved To Sleep In A Sea Of Stars. This had less than nothing to do with it. The characters refuse to have any redeeming qualities. The story poses puzzle after puzzle work no answers. NONE. How do you write in questions without ever answering a single one? Not even accidentally??? It doesn't even feel like experimental fiction. It feels like a pointless free-write that accidentally ended up at the publisher's office.

Outstanding storytelling
Revisado: 09-05-22
Don't expect quite the same level of hard science as the Bobiverse stories but this has some great ideas hiding as fiction. As always, Mr. Taylor writes clear, emotional dialogue that is easily relatable and stays consistent with each character. Of course, not nearly enough can be said about Mr. Porter's narration. It feels just like each character was written with his inflection in mind, making it possible to get fully caught up in the story and connect well with the characters. Awesome book! I've already bought all of Mr. Taylor's books and will HAPPILY continue to do so.

This is my perfect book. Time travel. A little romance. Earth shattering conspiracies. Humor! Don't forget humor! If you've read Ryan before, be jealous. I just discovered him and I'm about to deep dive.

Historia
I wasn't always this adorable, badass superhero you see before you. Well, I was, but there was a shady side to me, a part of my past I don't like to talk about. And that's what led me to Supralines, the best superhero school in the Oram galaxy. What follows is a bit of insanity, a bit of love, and a bit of self-discovery. Join me, and I promise you won't regret it!

First review, worst book.
Revisado: 12-31-21
There's nothing redeeming here. Pure pulp, forgettable characters, random and gratuitous sexuality, no science and no humanity. If you want erotica, fine. If you want action and plot, look elsewhere.

Historia
She soars above a world of warriors, kings, and priests. The daughter of Belgarath and the shape-shifter Poledra, she has fought wars, plotted palace coups, and worked her powerful magic for 3,000 years. Now, Polgara looks back at her magnificent life, in this fitting crown jewel to the saga that is the Eddingses' Belgariad and Mallorean cycles. Her hair streaked white by her father's first touch, her mind guided by a mother she will not see again for centuries, Polgara begins life in her Uncle Beldin's tower, and in the prehistorical, magical Tree that stands in the middle of the Vale.

Revisado: 04-12-21
I adore these books and would gladly recommend reading it to anyone... everyone. However, I use Audible to listen while I work and drive. Hearing David & Leigh's work BUTCHERED so blatantly made me so angry I had to take time to say it in writing. It's not Darren, IT'S GARAN, with a G. That's important to the story. The entire Rivan line starts with a G. Phrases like "the palm of his eye" are just ridiculous and not how they're written. Dina is obviously speaking without reading the material and miss-speaking far too often to just be ignored. It's more than distracting. For someone like me, who has read this series more than once, IT'S MADDENING. I thoroughly wish that someone else had narrated this volume. If they ever do, I'll buy it and happily delete this one.

Everyone loves a well-catered event, and the supernatural community is no exception. Enter Sin du Jour, the expert caterers to demons, goblins, faeries, and everything in between. In their first month on the job, Lena Tarr and Darren Vargas, the newest line chefs at the supernatural catering agency, have had to approximate angel meat, evade amorous lizards, and provide craft sacrifices for a Hollywood debut. Their coworkers have contended with zombified clowns, fought off the Easter Bunny's hit squad, and captured a golden fish for a goblin royal wedding.

Pure, well-written, well-produced fun
Revisado: 08-26-18
Firstly, this being Audible, Corey Gagne is a true talent. When you're able to enjoy the story without wincing at horrible accents, annoyingly bad character voices and poor pronunciations then it's magical. Corey celebrates the story and steps aside, leaving the author's vision room to shine. The story? It's perfect. Some people like to compare Matt to authors like Adams or Pratchett. That's wholly inappropriate because Matt's created something unique, that can stand just fine on its own. No matter who you are, you'll enjoy these fun, funny and touching stories.
