Another amazing prequel!

This was an amazing book and an amazing way to bridge The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and the original trilogy. I loved the way that it linked a bunch of names from both! No spoilers though! I was sad about the other revealed death at the end in the graveyard, though. But I still loved it. I hope that there are many more to come!

The only reason they didn’t get any explanation is because they weren’t listening to it enough! There was a big explanation right before Nox broke out of the rock! Anyway, I thought it was a good book because everything wrapped up nicely at the end. So I loved it!

This was an absolutely AMAZING book!!! I loved it! Recommend it to literally anyone. Except maybe babies and toddlers. But I think almost everyone in the world would enjoy this book not only because of it’s AMAZING plot twists, like Gussie betraying them but also Ellie finding out that Nox is not a crow… he’s a phoenix! Seriously, it’s become my favorite series since the moment I started listening to the first book (Sparrow Rising)! And the next book (Phoenix Flight) I might be able to say is even better! (If that’s even possible)! Like I said, it’s one of my three favorite books, and I will ask anyone who reads this to PLEASE listen to this book!

It was a Goldwing, after all, who saved her life on that terrible day her parents were killed. There's just one problem: Ellie is a Sparrow, and the Goldwings are almost invariably picked from the higher clans like Eagles and Ospreys. This rigid hierarchy means that Ellie is destined to become a farmer.
