Historia
In the year 2045, reality is an ugly place. The only time Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the OASIS, a vast virtual world where most of humanity spends their days. When the eccentric creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind a series of fiendish puzzles, based on his obsession with the pop culture of decades past. Whoever is first to solve them will inherit his vast fortune—and control of the OASIS itself.

Favorite audio book ever

Wil Wheaton brings this already tremendously evocative story to vivid life. I can’t imagine the movie improving on this.

It gets good five hours in
Revisado: 06-29-17
By the standards of that the characters set out in the book, this wouldn't be considered a great read. We only start to get to know the main protagonist after a very long and plain opening. It's a very plot driven story, with mostly flat characters, and the plot doesn't satisfy even after committing to finish it. Maybe it's a matter of taste and genre, but I was disappointed.

Historia
In Donald Miller's early years, he was vaguely familiar with a distant God. But when he came to know Jesus Christ, he pursued the Christian life with great zeal. Within a few years he had a successful ministry that ultimately left him feeling empty, burned out, and, once again, far away from God. In this intimate, soul-searching account, Miller describes his remarkable journey back to a culturally relevant, infinitely loving God.

This is important and thoughtful dialogue for anyone interested in Christianity (good or bad), on all spectrums of faith, from none at all to the bold and certain.

Gripping!
Revisado: 11-29-16
Highly suggest for someone's first King novel. narration was incredible! I was quickly swept into his world, especially because of Lindsay's firm grasp on the characters' voices.

Historia
In Finding God in the Waves, "Science Mike" draws on his personal experience to tell the unlikely story of how science led him back to faith. Among other revelations, we learn what brain scans reveal about what happens when we pray; how fundamentalism affects the psyche; and how God is revealed not only in scripture but in the night sky, in subatomic particles, and in us.
