Would you consider the audio edition of Dark Love: Part One to be better than the print version?

To be honest I felt the print version to be way better. This book is very dark and very good. But the audio version I didn't get the true feeling of what this book is. For one thing I didn't like the voice of the women. I also felt that the emotion was kind of dry and in the beginning I felt like I was listening to a children's book. When reading I felt the emotion was stronger. I visualized it more too.

What other book might you compare Dark Love: Part One to and why?

So far i haven't found another book as dark or that has so many aspects to it as this one. I mean there are many books that have the kidnapping and the sex, but none have that dark mystery as well. I don't think there is another book like that.

What about Logan McAllister and Lacy Laurel ’s performance did you like?

They pronounced the words correctly and you could understand them.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Towards the end of the book when Charotte leaves to return to check on her father and Raymond has to let her go even though he doesn't want to. I felt the emotion was crushing there.

Any additional comments?

This is such a good book, I just felt the audio version really didn't grab me and show me that true emotion that happens throughout the book. JB is such a good writer and I felt the narrators didn't bring out just how good this book is.
