Unlikable characters.
Revisado: 03-21-21
The main reason I wanted to listen to this one is that I saw that Aiden Snow was one of the narrators. All I got of him was one short chapter towards the end of the story. Lucy Rivers did a pretty good job though it was a little dramatic for me.
It is really hard to get into a story when you just really do not like the characters at all. Greyson was an emotionally abusive jerk. I am all for alpha men with issues but there has to be some sort of redeeming qualities. He keeps going off on her and saying the most hurtful horrible things and then says " Sorry, it will never happen again." It does happen again though. Not only does Hannah and everyone around him just keep letting him do it but they push her forgive him. A couple of times I though Hannah was actually going to grow a backbone, but nope.
This just wasn't the story for me. Maybe it would have been a little different if I had read it instead of listening. I don't think I will continue with the series though.

The story was good but it seemed more like an essay. Too much just telling what happened and not enough showing it.

Not enough world building.
Revisado: 12-21-19
This story had good bones. Jabez is rescued from a miserable life that is spent fighting and surviving. Its all he has, all he knows. When Andreas watches one of his matches and is gifted a meeting with Jabez by one of his friends he knows that Jabez belongs with him and buys out his contract. The two quickly start developing feelings for one another and Jabez opens Andreas eyes to what the world is really like. Things do not go smoothly at all. Nothing is easy and when you have the kind of friends that Andreas has who needs enemies?
I liked both characters a lot. Andreas is a little rich and spoiled and a whole lot innocent. Once his eyes are opened to the realities of the world though he is very much a man of action. Jabez was a little harder to read but that is because of the life he has lived I think. I wish that there had been more world building in the story. Things were a bit confusing at times and the story was hard to stay interested in for long stretches. The sex was very hot though.
Noah does a great job with Narration as always. I tend to like his voices for gritty characters a bit more than rich uptight type though. I could listen to the man do that little chuckle all day though!

Anna wanted a job but was unprepared for the emotional labor she would endure when she convinced Carter to hire her to keep house and mind his small son after the death of his wife. She discovers that the gentle, teasing demeanor she'd witnessed from the cowboy previously has been buried along with his wife, forcing her to contend with the glowering, ill-tempered man who snaps at her and doesn't notice or appreciate her earnest efforts.

So much better than the first one!
Revisado: 12-16-19
I almost didn't read this one because I disliked the first one so much. I am so glad I decided to give it a shot. Lets start with the story. Even though Carter still made a few fumbles in this one he was a lot less confusing and dim witted. I LOVED Anna! She is a no nonsense girl who knows what she wants. She was a lot more likable than Nalin. It doesn't take long at all after Carter hires her to work for him for the two of them to start having feelings for one another though, the story doesn't rush things at all which is refreshing sometimes. I love insta, but every now and then its nice to see two people come together over time.
The narrator was great! The only reason I didn't go with 5 stars was the weird awkward sound effects for the spanking scenes. It would have been sexier to hear him say SMACK! than to hear what sounds like someone snapping their fingers or something. Overall I enjoyed this one. I am looking forward to the next one.

Great story!
Revisado: 12-08-19
This was a great yet sometimes dark story. The h had been through some seriously messed up stuff and had the emotional scars to prove it. Fate has her marrying Caine. He's Hells Eight. That basically means hes a serious badass. With her though he is so sweet. He fumbles a bit in the beginning with how to help her but he eventually shows her that she doesn't have to guard her heart from him. The sex is hot and I love that Caine was so open about sex.
I wasn't so sure about the narrator at the beginning but she fit the story very well and did a good job giving the characters voices.

Poor choice of narrator
Revisado: 12-03-19
I have a feeling I would feel a lot differently about this story had someone else narrated it. Its not that Elliot Daniels has a bad voice or anything. He would be amazing at westerns, action, horror, or even non fiction. Romance, particularly those with erotic scenes or heavy emotions from the female character is just not his thing. When Nalin was speaking it sounded like the most over the top dramatic false female voice and it was even worse when she showed emotion. It was almost impossible to really pay attention to the story.
The story itself wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. There was a lot of repetition and Nalin seemed to have no direction or any real feeling toward the movement itself. It was like she was just playing a role. Carter was pretty much clueless but did have a very deep love for his wife.
I am going to continue with the series because the next one is narrated by someone else so we will see.

Finally!!!
Revisado: 12-02-19
Finally! It feels like it has taken forever for Copper and Shell to come together! This was definitely a high stress read for me. After so long of watching them circle each other I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through. There were so many secrets and so much danger here that even though I knew they would get their hea, I was still worried for them both.
The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star read for me was Copper. Don't get me wrong. He is amazing and I love him. It just seemed very out of character for him to be so stupid where Rusty was concerned. Yes, I know he was his brother and he loved him, but I just didn't see Copper allowing ANYONE to say and do the things he did. Especially the way he let him treat the women. I wanted to be so mad at Shell for keeping the secret for so long but I can kind of see why she did. Copper was blind where Rusty was concerned. Shell is such an amazing woman and the perfect Queen for the MC. She is the epitome of strength and loyalty.
I cannot end this review without talking about the slide scene! I actually had to pause it for a minute afterward to be able to laugh without missing anything! I really really wish I could have witnessed the other brothers getting a hold of the video. Their commentary would have been epic!
As I have already stated in previous reviews for this series I love these narrators but I have to admit I was especially looking forward to this one because I LOVE the way Noah Michael Levine does Coppers voice. I don't know much about accents or how accurate it is but oh my! They deep raspy voice just really pushes all of my buttons!

Historia
When a mishap completely turns Jackson’s life upside down, he has two options: Ignore the sweet email from the two subs looking for a master or take a leap of faith and see where it will lead them. Luckily for pups Sawyer and Cooper, Jackson takes that leap and discovers that love sometimes comes in unexpected packages. This boxed set contains the prequel to the series, the three main books in the series, and a bonus short where they take their first vacation as a family.

Two cute pups!
Revisado: 12-01-19
Including this one I have read 30 books by this author so its pretty safe to say I am a fan. In fact I have read this series previously. I loved it then, so when I got the chance to listen to the audible version I was very excited. I am happy to say that I was not disappointed. In fact I felt the same joy in watching Jackson, Sawyer, and Coopers journey as I did the first time.
Sawyer and Cooper are a family. They stick together no matter what and love one another deeply. They are also both pups/subs. As you can imagine this makes things a little more difficult but they find ways to allow both of them to get what they need. They take turns topping and being pups. What they both want more than anything though is a master that can love them both.
Jackson is a dog trainer. He is also very vanilla. A mistake in an advertisement on social media leads to Sawyer and Cooper emailing him. He is drawn to them immediately and it doesn't take long for him to start falling in love. Cooper's high energy, very horny, yet innocent personality and Sawyers calm and cuddly personality are the perfect fit for him. He even loves their pups!
It is pretty impossible to not love these three men. They are all so very different and yet together they just work so well. Many times when I'm reading a romance with multiple partners I get the feeling that one just doesn't fit as well. I don't have that same feeling here. You can see the love when they are all together and also as couples.
Kenneth Obi did a great job with the narration. All three men had very distinct voices. Jackson's is downright swoon worthy, Sawyer's is very sweet, Cooper's was a little too child like for me but I have to admit it fits him very well.

Heartbreaking but sexy!
Revisado: 11-27-19
This story was absolutely gut wrenching. Jigsaw has been through hell. He's more of a ghost than a man. With Izzy though he finally starts to live again. She isn't exactly looking for love either so it takes a bit but they get there in the end. Both Jigsaw and Izzy are kickass characters. There is no whimpering weak little female here.
The narration is amazing as always with these two.

Maverick is awesome, Stephanie not so much
Revisado: 11-21-19
Maverick is one of the most badass characters ever! He is so strong, brave, and sexy! He endures unimaginable pain to save a woman he barely knows from being raped and never loses his cocky swagger. I love the Hells Handlers. They may be a bit (okay a lot) rough around the edges but they are the good guys. Unfortunately I had issues with the rest of the story. I don't like stories where one character is keeping a big huge secret for so long. It's just not my thing. It seemed to drag on and on. I wanted to choke Stephanie and tell her to come clean and explain how she was trying to keep them safe. It was just the last little bit of the story that the truth came out. Had it came out earlier and progressed a little differently then I might have liked it more.
