A Resounding Call to Authenticity
Revisado: 04-16-25
I highly recommend “The Creator’s Call” — this book is an absolute triumph! I enjoyed it so much that I’ve read it twice, and each time, its message resonated even more deeply. In a world suffocated by cancel culture and relentless pressure to conform, this book is the antidote we desperately need. Its compelling case for embracing authenticity and finding the courage to follow one’s inner voice is nothing short of inspiring.
The author masterfully weaves personal stories with powerful lessons from influential figures throughout history, creating a narrative that is both intimate and universal. These stories don’t just entertain—they teach, challenge, and uplift, urging readers to reject societal constraints and become the best version of their authentic selves. Every page pulses with wisdom and heart, making it impossible to put down.
“The Creator’s Call” is a must-read for anyone yearning to live boldly and true to who they are. This book doesn’t just speak to the mind—it ignites the soul. A true gem!

Heart-warming Book
Revisado: 10-10-24
This books makes me feel so warm and fuzzy on the inside. It’s the only book I know of that speaks to the many areas that make a “rich” life. Steve’s tone and style are humble. He doesn’t claim to know all the answers, but provides insights based on his life and experience. I also enjoy how Steve teaches through funny and memorable stories/personal experiences.
For full transparency, I am his son and I have seen him work for years on this book. I am so proud and happy for him to have completed the achievement. I hope my review provides insights to potential readers so they can decide if this is a good book to help them grow “rich”.

Historia
“Scale” has become a favored buzzword in the startup world. But scale isn't just about accumulating more users or capturing more market share. It's about whether an idea that takes hold in a small group can do the same in a much larger one. Translating an idea into widespread impact, says University of Chicago economist John A. List, depends on one thing only: whether it can achieve “high voltage”—the ability to be replicated at scale. In The Voltage Effect, List explains that scalable ideas share a common set of attributes, while any number of attributes can doom an unscalable idea.

Professor List is a great author, economist, and professor. I had him as a professor at UChicago and as such am not surprised at the high quality of his latest book.

Terrific Book
Revisado: 10-08-20
Gad tackles a difficult topic with seeming ease. I appreciated the clear and linear approach he takes to explaining his conclusions. I bought a second copy for a friend. Very good book.

Historia
For decades environmentalists have told us that using fossil fuels is a self-destructive addiction that will destroy our planet. Yet by every measure of human well-being, from life expectancy to clean water to climate safety, life has been getting better and better. How can this be? The explanation is that we usually hear only one side of the story. We're taught to think only of the negatives of fossil fuels, their risks and side effects, but not their positives.

Historia
Legions of self-help authors rightly urge personal development as the key to happiness, but they typically fail to focus on its most important objective: hardiness. Though that which doesn't kill us can make us stronger, as Nietzsche tells us, few authors today offer any insight into just how to springboard from adversity to strength. It doesn't just happen automatically, and it takes practice. New scientific research suggests that resilience isn't something with which only a fortunate few of us have been born, but rather something we can all take specific action to develop.
