Historia
The Alpha Quadrant is mired in crisis. Within the United Federation of Planets, a terrorist strike on the shipyards of Mars has led to the shutdown of all relief efforts for millions of Romulans facing certain doom from an impending supernova. But when the USS Titan is drawn into a catastrophic incident on the Romulan-Federation border, Captain William Riker, his family, and his crew find themselves caught between the shocking secrets of an enigmatic alien species and the deadly agenda of a ruthless Tal Shiar operative.

Wonderful

One of the best Star Trek novels in years. Makes me wish we had gotten a show based on the Titan. That said, I really loved how the Romulans were written. Can't wait to listen to more.

Great prequel to the show

I really enjoyed this book, especially the way it set things up for the show. Just keep in mind any of the TNG novels set after Nemesis starting with Death in Winter are set in a continuity incompatible with Picard, so you can just go straight from Nemesis to this book.

Where does Thanks for the Money rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is the funniest audiobook I have listened to.
Have you listened to any of Joel McHale’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
While this is the first audiobook of his I have listened to, it compares favorably with his comedy shows.
Any additional comments?
Joel takes a lot of effort to make the audiobook unique. You don't just get a rote reading of the book, but various audio guests, audio specific jokes, and Joel describing all of the images you are missing out on in detail.
