Revisado: 02-18-25
Overall, this was a very good lesson. And more interesting than I had even imagined. I think that we all wanted to hear a little bit more of his Hollywood experience but overall it was a very interesting story and showed the multifaceted human being. That is the author.

Fantastic Autobiography by One of the Greatest Comedic Minds to Have Ever Lived
Revisado: 02-23-24
From start to finish, this book was extremely entertaining, heartwarming, and, of course, funny. Mel Brooks is such a naturally gifted entertainer with a sharp, comedic mind. Hearing the behind-the-scenes stories of how some of his greatest works were made is fascinating and insightful. What a fantastic career, and what appears to be a genuinely kind and exceptional human being. The fact that the book was read by the author himself adds that much more to the experience. Highly recommended. Now it’s time to go and watch some more of his movies!

A Legend…but the Book Could Have Been Better
Revisado: 01-23-24
This was a good biography about a truly exceptional athlete. The beginning of the book was a little bit slow with history regarding his parents, but I suppose the author felt that understanding where Kobe came from, was important to understanding him. Other than the slow start it was a pretty good biography.

Hi! I’m Seth! I was asked to describe my audiobook, Yearbook for websites and shit like that, so...here it goes!!! Yearbook is a collection of true stories that I desperately hope are just funny at worst, and life-changingly amazing at best. (I understand that it’s likely the former, which is a fancy “book” way of saying “the first one.”) I talk about my grandparents, doing stand-up comedy as a teenager, bar mitzvahs, and Jewish summer camp, and tell way more stories about doing drugs than my mother would like.
