This book, by far, is the worst book ever written by Stuart Woods. It’s the life and times of the Uber wealthy. Flaunting their ability to by anything, including entrance in to their college of choice. Pulling strings and using other wealthy connections to simply enhance their fortune. I wish I had not listened to this book. It completely ruined the entire Stone Barrington series of a bumbling, seat of his pants attorney who jumps from one fire to another with humor interspersed at appropriate times. The writing of Arrington Carter out of the story line is complete bullsh*t. I’m going take a break from this series and, maybe, I will come back to it later.

Absolutely the worst performance by an audio reader in my 3 years of membership. Constantly repeating the same lines over and over. This might have been a decent listen if the narrator hadn't sucked.

Boring

The story was below average. Listening to the performance was akin to watching paint dry. Longest 16 hours of my life. Kept hoping the monotonous tone would change. I was wrong. Reading the book is much higher in drama. I read the book 30 years ago. This audio performance did not do it justice.
