I’ve listened to this hundreds and hundreds of times over the last 7 years, Tara Brach has been my inner parent voice since before I had developed my own and she still is every day as she’s helping me develop mine, and grow that nurturing, kind voice inside me in place of the abusive inner critic. I’ve listened to her podcasts, bought her programs, read her books, and this audio is the most healing of all of her work I’ve encountered. But all of her work is amazing, my second favorites are radical self acceptance and finding true refuge (the audio programs like this, not the books). I listen to them every day, whenever my mental heath starts to spiral, I notice there’s a correlation that I haven’t been listening to Tara Brach. When I go back to her, I’m always amazed that it’s always exactly what I needed to hear. I’ve listened to this as my go to in moments when I’m in retraumatization states and/or complete disregulated, and it’s saved me, more times than I can count, I’m so grateful for Tara. I don’t know how she has gotten where she’s gotten in her self-compassion and self-acceptance and open heartedness without someone like her providing the kinds of resources she’s provided for the world. I don’t know where I’d be without her, I’ve invested so much in therapy and healing programs and this one audio has been above and beyond the most crucial and life changing piece of the puzzle for me.
