Insight into a complex character.
Revisado: 07-20-20
Watching the movies, and even “The Clone Wars” series, Dooku never seemed to get his... Doo. 😂
Here, we learn more about his motivations and why he made the decisions he did.
The performance is top notch.
Star Wars fans should absolutely listen.

Historia
Jim and Karen's group have escaped the horrors of Vancouver and are travelling north, toward his parents home, in hopes that the remote location will allow them some measure of safety. What they encounter on the road is far more dangerous than anything the city had to offer. The defenses at Brother Paul's survivalist church are at a breaking point and a drastic choice must be made. As he shepherds his congregation north to a massive, secluded church compound, he learns that faith alone won't save his followers. It's going to take a hell of a lot of bullets and all the luck in the world.

Another great installment of one of my favorite sci-fi horror series
Revisado: 09-19-18
It’s hard to believe that so much has happened in such a short period of time in ”The Infected” series, but that is part of the magic of author Joseph “Zombie” Zuko’s world. The characters are so believable and likable that it makes it incredibly difficult not to get invested into their lives. I really enjoy these books and hope you will too!

A great story and an amazing Star Wars story
Revisado: 03-07-17
"Rogue One" was a fantastically executed movie that set up "A New Hope" perfectly, but getting even to that point required a lot of guessing as to what happened. This clears it all up!

Historia
In a world of self-driving cars and big data, smart algorithms and Siri, we know that artificial intelligence is getting smarter every day. Though all these nifty devices and programs might make our lives easier, they're also well on their way to making "good" jobs obsolete. A computer winning Jeopardy might seem like a trivial, if impressive, feat, but the same technology is making paralegals redundant as it undertakes electronic discovery, and is soon to do the same for radiologists.

Revisado: 02-12-16
I am a huge fan of speculative economics, and this does a phenomenal job of presenting possibilities of a, unfortunately, this Topia in future with technology. Though I do not share the author's bleak outlook entirely, I found the arguments compelling and disturbing. I wish I knew more people I could discuss this with.

Revisado: 06-27-15
The ideas in this book are fantastic, but is much better served in the printed edition which is described at the beginning of the audiobook. The narrator does a good job, but the source material is far too interactive to be effective in this format.

Everything you would want in a book by Nick Offerman
Revisado: 06-26-15
Let me start by saying that as a voice, Nick Offerman has the most reassuring tone and delivery of any audiobook reader I have encountered; I take every deliberate syllable this man says as verse and whether he is being mirthful or not, I feel a sense of gratitude that I can feel there is voracity in the words.
The subject matter is as strong as its subjects and the subjects are strong selections in their own right.
This was a completely satisfying book that not only had me learning things, but learning of other things that I now want to stuff into my brain.
Fantastic.

Historia
If you're an Indo-Muslim-British-American actor who has spent more time in bars than mosques over the past few decades, turns out it's a little tough to explain who you are or where you are from. In No Land's Man Aasif Mandvi explores this and other conundrums through stories about his family, ambition, desire, and culture that range from dealing with his brunch-obsessed father, to being a high-school-age Michael Jackson impersonator, to joining a Bible study group in order to seduce a nice Christian girl, to improbably becoming America's favorite Muslim/Indian/Arab/Brown/Doctor correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

Insightful and enjoyable to listen to
Revisado: 06-10-15
As a huge fan of Aasif Mandvi on the Daily Show, I expected this to be more about antics while recording the show I used as my primary news source for many years. What I got was an insightful look at what a vagabond Muslim life; one that had anchors in many places, including America in a tumultuous time to be here, and giving me insight into what that must have been like.
Aasif recounts these stories in his enjoyable voice, both written and listened to, and never seems to play a character. He is affable and humble and still allows us to see him grow from an outcast kid to a cultural voice.
I found this book so enjoyable I plan on suggesting it to everyone.

Historia
There have been many books - on a large and small scale - about Steve Jobs, one of the most famous CEOs in history. But this book is different from all the others. Becoming Steve Jobs takes on and breaks down the existing myth and stereotypes about Steve Jobs. The conventional, one-dimensional view of Jobs is that he was half genius, half jerk from youth, an irascible and selfish leader who slighted friends and family alike.
