An Excellent Guide

This book places the focus on God’s way, rather than the author’s ways, just as it should. Methods, practices, thought patterns, and foundational principles are taken from Scripture, organized, consolidated, clarified considering context from other Scriptures, and applied to today’s troubles. It’s effective because God knows best! It is wise to remember Him, first and foremost.
I would recommend that the audible version of this book be used to give its reader a boost in confidence to get started and make quick progress. Catch overarching themes and learn as you go. We can gain some of that “momentum” Darrin talks about in chapter 8, taking charge of our mental and emotional health.
The physical form of this book encourages a slower, deeper growth. I am now heading through this guided journey a second time, studying, journaling, and revisiting the sections most relevant to me. Also, to the visual reader’s delight, Bob the Blob makes an appearance in paperback and hardcover forms.
In any form, this book is a blessing!
