Historia
When the famous German author Sebastian Haffner died at the age of 91 in 1999, a manuscript was discovered among his unpublished papers. The book was begun in 1939, but with the advent of World War II, Haffner had set it aside. His family made the decision to publish it, and the book became a best seller in Germany in 2002. Spanning the period from 1907 to 1933, it offers a unique perspective on how the average educated German grappled with the rise of Hitler.

Loved it!
Most memorable is his seemingly over the top claim to prove the existence of an after life which he did cogently.

This book I did love and it was a very worthwhile listen. My favorite moment was when the angry man from town heard himself in echos and was ashamed. A,fictional moment perhaps, but one I shall not forget.

Historia
Tarot cards have been around since the mid-15th century in Europe. The initial Tarot cards were created to be a fun game, however the decks have evolved considerably. Since that time, the cards have developed into a method of guided meditation and a method for predicting the future. Most people are mainly accustomed to hearing the word in association with the latter.
