What a great book. Howard Wasdin tells a tale of a great operator, and a good man. His story makes you feel that you are along beside him.

Great series! Now I want more!

I’ve just completed listening to all the Tier One Series books back to back, and I’m excited to pick up on the saga when the new book is released in 2025.
Jack Kemper/John Dempsey is a great character, and his flaws make him human instead of a cartoon style superhero/badass.
Ray Porter is a wonderful performer, and a love listening to him read and brings the books to audio life as I drive.

Fascinating look into life 500 years ago.

I was totally enthralled as I listened to this detailed account of the reign of Henry the eighth. Some of the in-depth figures and information may be boring to a lot of people, but I was thrilled to see just what it took to run the monarchy of England 500 years ago. I enjoyed hearing the data and it fleshed out the European history I remember from my school days. I particularly enjoyed the glimpse of what European nobility and royalty had as their lifestyles back in those days. I plan to listen to this author’s book about Henry the eighth’s six wives, and then probably more biographical information about this fascinating man.

SSGT Travis Mills is a hero! Not just because he served in the army and protected our nation, but because of the way he has devoted his life to helping others after his injuries. This book should be required reading for everyone, because we all have trauma in our lives. There are many invisible, scars coming from trauma that make it difficult sometimes to see the challenges people have to bounce back from.

I have always wanted to read this classic, so I was thrilled when I had an opportunity to listen to it on audible. Such an incredible and powerful story, I can’t wait now to see if any of the film adaptations of this book can live up to how Jack London’s writing made me feel.

Great story about a warrior who trained other warriors

This is a wonderful tale from a man could’ve ended up going down the wrong path, but instead decided to allow himself to train to the highest of capabilities as a warrior. And then he embark upon training himself to be a better teacher, so that he could then train the next generation of warriors. I particularly love the fact that he is humble and quite frank about the struggles that he went through along the way.
