What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

the guy that wrote and reads this book is BEyond DESPICABLE! he is a narcisstic, two-faced, lying, backstabber and is SO UNtolerable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he is the type of Gay Man that gives Gay Men a bad rap!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do NOT purchase this book!!!

the reader's voice is AWFUL!!! I read the book and her voice does NOT match the character I had in mind.. too high, too little girlie... just plain AWFUL!!!! enjoy this book in print NOT audio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have. I have read much about these murders and the subsequent trials and parole hearings BUT I found it to be an eye-opener hearing it from the family's perspective. I shed a LOT of tears while listening to this book. SO glad I read it!!!

oh so very dry and boring... I mean this guy gives an example, then another, then another and so on and so on and so on..................... UGH!!! we get it already!

all this crap about buying cheap and having to assemble.. geez have NEVER purchased a BBQ grill that I didn't have to assemble so that example was CRAP!! amongst about most of the rest in this book. talk about making comparisons that weren't. so deceiving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was probably the cutest, funniest, most engaging, fun book I've listened to in a very long time. I found myself laughing out loud over and over.. folks in the cars next to me at red lights, etc thought I had lost it...

JLH's book is as spunky as she is! Lots of laughs.. mostly cause we can relate with her experiences and because she tells them in such a humorous manner. So glad she read her own audio book as it somehow made everything much more relevant.

This author did NOT leave out any detail... talk about OVERKILL!!! INFORMATION OVERLOAD. This book could have done without 75% of the writing that the author seemed to somehow feel made a difference in the telling of this story. It made a difference all right... One cannot wait to check this book back into the libary... mundane minutiae!!!!!
