But when did the Cold War start? Why does it matter 30 years later? Find out in this ten-part series, transport back in time, feel what it was like to live through the end of the Cold War, and understand why that struggle was a battle for civilization itself. Finally, Keith Olbermann scratched my itch!
Revisado: 10-30-18
I live in a household where my son (16) and my husband are die hard Trump groupies. I detest the so called "President" with every fiber of my being. I have no one to commiserate with. I feel completely humiliated that our nation has become the laughing stock to the rest of the world. I served our country, proudly, in the USAF. It was a time when I could hold my head high and admit to anyone that the USA was indeed my homeland.
After serving our country, I went to Sturbridge, MA with my parents. It is a place where the development of the original colonies is celebrated. There was a parade in which the participants were adorned in period costume. They played the Star Spangled Banner as the troops marched by.
I felt so incredibly proud to be an American that I ended up in tears being caught up in the intensity of the moment. I WAS proud to call the USA my home, not anymore.
Keith Olbermann was right on time with his book, Trump is F*cking Crazy. I had been feeling alone in the midst of the turmoil, embarrassment, conceitedness, hypocrisy, scandal. utter astonishment and fear that has come to be our daily realty since this imposter stole the office of our once sacred position as President of the United States of America. Keith brilliantly scratched my itch by giving a stellar performance as writer and narrator of this timely tale based solely on our new and frightening reality. He put to words all that I cannot freely say in the now discomfort of my own home.
Each day while I cooked and cleaned, I would put on my headphones and listen to Keith as he so animatedly spoke the truth about the "president." I've never met Keith, but felt as if he was my friend in that he put into words and made sense of all that I have been feeling. if anyone out there is feeling scared and alone because this buffoon has stolen the office of commander in chief, this book is a must listen. The voice that he uses to quote Trump is spot on. Download it, listen to it and savor every bit of it. You won't be sorry!
