A web of stories
Revisado: 07-30-14
Some people will find this novel boring and perhaps even confusing. I loved it for it's complex storyline and the way Kate Morton managed to bring all the events into a full circle towards the end. Some of the characters are annoying in their actions, but that made the story more 'real' to me.
The narrator is wonderful.

Perhaps not as intriguing as Gone Girl as it was a bit more predictable and the storyline not as intriguing. I still enjoyed it a great deal.

Dark and brutal

A book that constantly made you question the narrators and their motives. Very intriguing as it gave a new spin to the the thriller/murder mystery genre.

This novel captivated me from the very beginning; I loved everything about Harold and his journey. Some parts were a bit predictable but the lasting memories of this novel are only positive.
It was an unexpected treasure to find - I will listen to it again.

This is another novel I bought based on the good reviews and I was very much disappointed. The characters are unconvincing, the dialogue is mundane and the storyline predictable and silly.
In my opinion it is nothing like Kate Morton or The Thirteenth Tale.
The narrator was ok.

Repetition to death
Revisado: 11-25-11
I bought this audiobook based on the positive reviews and found myself being very disappointed.
I think it was the dialogue that did it for me. It was repetitious, dull, and used in excess. Fast-forwarding 10-15 minutes at a time did not matter as the characters were still harping on about the same things over and over and over and over and over again.
In short, I was bored by this book.
