Honestly was annoyed with the immaturity at first but started to like the book as it went on. Some sentences had repeating statements that were distracting but overall the book was good.

Such a good read

This book is a rollercoaster of emotions but time and time again Colleen blows me away with her writing, creativity, and ability to portray the toughest situations. I truly admire her work and recommend reading as many of her books as possible. Lovely read.

Honestly I had high hopes for this book but it literally sounded like the author took bits of information from other stories and smashed it together. From Fallen where she keeps coming back and they are destined for each other, twilight when he is super fast and catches what she dropped, and a few others. Pretty disappointed. Narrator was super monotone and didn’t even try to have a guy voice which threw me off not knowing who exactly was talking at times. If you have read quite a few good fantasy books, don’t waste your time and credits on this one.
