Historia
General George S. Patton, Jr., died under mysterious circumstances in the months following the end of World War II. For almost 70 years, there has been suspicion that his death was not an accident - and may very well have been an act of assassination. Killing Patton will take listeners inside the final year of the war and recount the events surrounding Patton's tragic demise, naming names of the many powerful individuals who wanted him silenced.

Great story with horrible narration
Revisado: 03-21-16
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Time was well spent because of the content within the book. It put a good perspective on Patton's life in and outside the war.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Patton because of the overall ambiance he exuded to those around him, both positive and negative.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Bill O'Reilly?
Anyone! Bill is a great author but perhaps the worst narrator in the history of book narration. There was no emotion and the characters never came to life. It was just a reading of the book. It was a shame to ruin such a great book with such horrible narration.
Could you see Killing Patton being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
Killing Patton would definitely make a good series. I can't think of who would be good to play the characters at present.

Fantastic follow up
Revisado: 03-21-16
What made the experience of listening to Blue Darker than Black the most enjoyable?
It was a great continuation and the story picked up and built on previous happenings. There are several embedded stories in the book. I particularly liked the development of the capsule recovery unit story and how Haiti and its culture were used in the book. It really added a lot of depth to the book overall.
What did you like best about this story?
The continual battle and balance of personal life and professional life for the good of the country. There are lots of highs and lows throughout the story and the 3rd iteration should be a great close to the story.
What about Kevin Stillwell’s performance did you like?
Kevin continued to do a great job of bringing the characters in the book to life.

Fantastic story with great narration.

Where does Blue Gemini rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
One of the best audiobooks I've completed so far.
What did you like best about this story?
It's a great story based on events as they happened in the Cold War and the infancy of a maturing space program. The was a great mix of life lessons the characters learned and action of the military and space program. I have always been intrigued with the space program and the military. I also liked how Mike used songs and other things to tie the story to era it was set in throughout the story. Many authors forget about that and only set the story a couple times in the book.
Which character – as performed by Kevin Stillwell – was your favorite?
He did a great job with all characters. In most cases he had me intrigued with the character of Virgil Wolcott. His reproduction of Virgil's dialogue painted a vivid picture of the character and allowed you to create that image in your mind when he spoke.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Absolutely! I listened to the book everyday on my commute to and from work. Approximately 1 hour each way.
Any additional comments?
Mike did a great job in so many aspects when writing this book. It has action, historical reference mixed with aspects of human life. I can't wait to read the sequel.
