Historia
Cassie Forrest isn't surprised to learn that the day she’s decided to get her life together is also the day the world ends. After all, she’s been on a self-imposed losing streak since her survivalist parents died: she’s stopped painting, broken off her engagement to Adrian and dated a real jerk. Rectifying her mistakes has to wait, however, because Cassie and her friends have just enough time to escape Brooklyn for her parents’ cabin before Bornavirus LX turns them into zombies, too.

Listen over and over
Revisado: 01-21-23
It's probably my 50th time listening Julia Whelan- excellent
Sarah Lyons Fleming- excellent. love them both. The story is easy listening and fast-paced enough to keep it going. I just relistened to this after I'd say maybe 6 months, and I still cried at sad and happy sad parts.

Historia
High in the Transylvanian woods, at the castle Piscul Draculi, live five daughters and their doting father. It's an idyllic life for Jena, the second eldest, who spends her time exploring the mysterious forest with her constant companion, a most unusual frog. But best by far is the castle's hidden portal, known only to the sisters. Every Full Moon, they alone can pass through it into the enchanted world of the Other Kingdom. There they dance through the night with the fey creatures of this magical realm.

Historia
We often treat the word capacity as if it were a natural law of limitation. Unfortunately most of us are much more comfortable defining what we perceive as off limits rather than what's really possible. Could it be that many of us have failed to expand our potential because we have allowed what we perceive as capacity to define us? What if our limits are not really our limits?

Good content.
Revisado: 04-28-17
I enjoyed the content, however, the audio was very difficult to get into. a bright side would be that you can listen to it easily at 2x the speed. It just sounds like you have typed it into your computer and the voice function is on.

This book is a perfect pairing for those who have watched the Netflix series Making a Murderer and felt the outrage. I know why it stirred up so many feelings of frustration about what appeared to be unjust action taken towards Steven Avery. While watching all I could think was that could be anyone, that could be me, so easily having freedom and your voice stripped away in fear of saying the wrong thing. However I find myself to be someone who needs truth and all sides of the story. Micheal Griesbach satisfied any lingering questions I had after watching the series and is a great author to boot. Perfect choice of narrator also.

Really enjoyed it!
Revisado: 03-30-16
It took me forever to pick the newest book I wanted to listen to and was happy that I did. Maggie has amazing talent for description. Painting a picture, yet leaving just enough to the imagination. I liked that it wasn't a sappy love story. The only thing I thought was strange (might just be me) was that the male narrator sounds so similar to the man that narrated "The Silkworm" and "Cuckoo's calling" that if I became distracted while listening I would repeatedly think I was listening to another story.
