Overall, a pretty good audiobook. The author tends to drag out some of his explanations, which could be explained in one or two or even three words, but apart from that it is a pretty decent audiobook hopefully the next installment bills more on the universe and looking forward to it.

The main story for the series is great as usual. But the slice of life stories are terrible. That is the biggest weakness of this series. You essentially get the same stories being repeated over and over again from the last three books it’s kind of getting annoying now. Again the author has a great main story. Unless he actually makes the effort to make them the side stories that he’s trying to sell better.

I am really enjoying the series. It is not for everyone, but a unique universe of characters. The universe keeps expanding. I am looking forward to the next installment.

I’ve enjoyed all of the books in this series so far, except for this one, it feels unfulfilling. The story felt like it was drawn out.  to be honest, most of the story, could’ve been a part of book 5. Hopefully the next installment has more to it .

I’ll keep this review simple, the downside to this audible series it is it starts off very slow. There is action there is a good universe, but the main character is the biggest issue. I like the idea with the ability to reverse time. Let’s just say took a while for the main character to actually start taking advantage of this ability. Because of this makes the series kind of slow. But apart from that, the universe is very unique great supporting characters. It might not be for everyone.

The narration to this audiobook was great. But the audiobook itself is very slow pace when it comes to the story. There’s magic and Civil War, but nothing really happens until the closing section of the Audible book. Hopefully in the next installment, there will be more action more magic.

This audible book started off pretty well a little slow at first, but it’s slowly started to pick up. But in the midpoint, it kinda lost track of what it’s actually trying to do. I’m hoping the author makes the necessary corrections in book 2. The idea is there is just the execution needs to be work on.
