Amazing long awaited 2nd book

The story was great, albeit a little predictable but I think that’s only because I’ve had the iron prince on repeat so just about every combination of the story has danced my grey matter. But even if it was, it was still enjoyable to have my suspicions confirmed. More than a few times I woke up my partner because I hooted and hollered at 3am. And I LOVE the beginning chapter excerpts, Brandon Sanderson does that and it just makes the world so much more tied to itself and our world. Maybe just one too many 21st century references?
I am very glad Luke Daniel’s narrated this book. I did read one negative review and honestly that person can go and suck it because the performance was perfect. I sometimes listen to books just because it’s read by Daniel’s.

This series has become a staple in my daily routine. The stories and the narration are terrific, and the "undying" concept is truly unique. I love this series. Seems like it could potentially go one forever, which would be fine by me. :-)

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I have already recommended this book to a number of friends. It is a romp of classic 80s games and music that just brings back incredible memories.
What did you like best about this story?
I enjoyed the the concept of the oasis being a refuge from the almost torture of future every day life, almost as an 80s montage.
Which character – as performed by Wil Wheaton – was your favorite?
The character of Art3mis (Samantha) was my favorite. She was a great independent motivator for Wade to make it to the end.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I loved Wil Wheaton's narration, especially when he as the narrator makes a reference to himself in the book! What a hoot!
Any additional comments?
This is a fun ride I recommend to everyone interested in a great adventure.
