Slow but picks up towards the end

The beginning had to many irrelevant details and appeared to go off on tandems. I was cleaning the house so I just kept listening. Towards the middle it began to be a little interesting so I continued. This book is a great distraction if you are doing busy work. The story line was just okay and this writer has done so much better. I’m still a fan but this was a little brutal in the beginning.

Plenty of horror, thrills, action and hope!

One hell of a Journey and I enjoyed every moment! Once I got started I couldn't stop until the end. Another example of how man's god complex lead to unimaginable consequences. Throughout the story, Amy was a constant reminder that there's a power beyond our understanding that gives us reason to hope.

I loved this book, the tips and coaching moments are wisdom you don’t get everyday. I have referred this book numerous times and have gifted it to the women in my office. I don’t have the corner office yet but I’m getting there!!!!!

Karen Slaughter is one of the best mystery authors of all times. The characters come to life and you are left wondering what's going to happen next. The narrator is simply awesome.

You won't be disappointed!!!!

The narrator was brilliant as she changed voices with the characters and brought them to life. Laura captivated the story and interweaved the story line piece by piece. This is a masterpiece of mystery and deceitfulness. I would listen to this again. Tess is the "real deal" as an investigator. This book is a must read!!!

Awesome Story Telling

Karen is an excellent mystery writer and this book is just another example of her mastery skills. This storyline was captivating and had me wanting to hear more and more. I really enjoyed this book and it's been awhile since I've been so engrossed in a story.

Waiting for More

I was really hyped to listen to this book by Sheryl Sandberg especially with all the media and publicity surrounding it. I must say I was disappointed. There was nothing new introduced. Most of what was said, our parents taught us already. I was looking for more insight on how women are breaking the glass ceiling and what styles of leadership are women executives using to get ahead. What is takes to be a women climbing the corporate ladder.
