I'm here thanks to 'Mind of a serial killer/murderer', so I'm unaware of these ladies and their prior pods. I was in hopes of a similar style of podcast in regards to it being a more tightly produced/edited product. Unfortunately, as interesting as it opened, it quickly lost me with the numerous plosives P's and the small talk. I'm sorry, but we're not here for you two and your lives we want the deets on the main topic. Tighten things up and this can be a great show.

I wasn't bothered by the male narration as others, although I did think the female was far superior. It was really well written and as for the storyline...the ending ruined it all.

The main characters are cute together , I loved their playfulness. I wished there had been more of that between Marcus and Honoria (sp) before the main "conflict". It wasn't a great story line but the musical plot was different and again, cute. The narrator did a great job with the female voices, but her Marcus voice wasn't great.

I was so hopefull once I began listening. The writing is very smart but the plot was simple and boring. The characters had no depth and no real build up as to why they were attracted to eachother. SPOILER*** she is dressed as a boy, tries to kill him, she admits to being a woman, she tries to flee, he catches her and kisses her. ***
If you've never read a historical romance, then you might (I stress might) like this book.

This was a great romance with a good plot line(and not a lot of sex or too graphic). Loved the whole "impure thoughts" section, couldn't stop smiling. Susan Duerden did a fantastic job narrating!!!
