Historia
Brantt Myhres wasn't around for the birth of his daughter. Myhres had played for seven different NHL teams, and had made millions. But he'd been suspended four times, all for drug use, and he had partied his way out of the league. This is his story, in his own words, of how he fought his way out of minor hockey into the big league, but never left behind the ghosts of a bleak and troubled childhood.

If you’re even considering this, get it.
Revisado: 11-28-21
This was recommended to me by a friend who played in the ECHL about 10 years ago and was in the “enforcer” roll as he tried to climb the ladder. This is not the typical genre I usually listen to.
It is an incredible autobiography of Brantt Myhres, written by and narrated by Brantt himself. It is INCREDIBLE to hear Brantt tell the stories of his past. Incredible is an understatement.
This is not a self-help book and there is no chest thumping by Brantt. You won’t believe the humility of this guy while you listen to this book. Absolute must listen. The person who recommended this book to me actually read the book. I don’t think reading this book does the story justice. You gotta actually hear Brant tell his life story in his own voice.
Brantt, I sincerely wish you the best of luck with your continued sobriety, fatherhood and your future. -Keep going

Historia
"I’m James Taylor and I’m a professional autobiographer", says the celebrated folk singer at the start of this tender audio memoir. Through decades of music by one of the best-selling musicians of all time, who created classics like "Fire and Rain" and "Carolina in My Mind", James Taylor has doled out his history in the poetry of his work. Taylor says his early life is, "the source of many of my songs", and Break Shot is a tour of his first 21 years in rich, new detail.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! Will not disappoint
Revisado: 01-31-20
I’m not even familiar with his music and this is an absolute winner. We all know fire and rain and Carolina on my mind but I couldn’t name another jt song to save my life and I loved this story. I’ve been in a rut with audio books from audible lately. The last 5 or 6 have totally sucked. This was incredible. I wish it continued beyond the age of 21. Follow it up Jimmy!

Two days before Christmas 1996, the broken, battered body of Sophie Toscan du Plantier was found outside her vacation home in West Cork, a serene region on Ireland’s idyllic southern coast. Historia
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

if you're on the fence, don't get this.
Revisado: 01-23-18
this book is not good. I have no idea why it has received such good ratings by so many people. if this story is appealing to you, but you're on the fence don't waste you're money. try the Atlantis Gene. similar type of fiction but much more thought out. I'm very disappointed with Artemis. I wanted it to be good but it just wasn't.

Revisado: 02-25-16
I'd give it 3.5 if possible only options are 3 or 4 stars. It's worth listening to if you've heard the other books in the grey man series but it's not the best book in the series. it's still pretty good though.

It was interesting and had some good twists.
Revisado: 03-11-13
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
If they were interested in WW2 fiction. It's worth a free credit.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Ratlines?
Decent plot twists.
What three words best describe Alan Smyth’s voice?
Tries too hard.
Could you see Ratlines being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
I actually could, but have no idea who would be main characters.
Any additional comments?
It wasn't bad. If you're thinking about getting it you should. It's worth the credit and your time to listen. I realize its a difficult job but the narrator could have done better and takes some getting used to.

Complete waste of TIME and MONEY!!!!
Revisado: 04-17-12
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Self centered jerkoffs
Has Brotherhood of Warriors turned you off from other books in this genre?
No
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Im not sure it's fair for me to give only one star to the narrator, but everything about this story absolutely SUCKED
What character would you cut from Brotherhood of Warriors?
The author, Aaron Cohen!
Any additional comments?
The most self centered book I could imagine. I bought this book thinking it was about a "Brotherhood of Warriors" and all it was about was Aaron Cohen's self centered story. There was absolutely nothing about brotherhood or teamwork. Look at me, I think I'm a bad ass, I fight people and my parents are rich. Oh, did I mention how I think I'm elite?Ill never get back the time I waisted listening to this. I could have been listening to American Sniper or Warrior Elite or War or The Good Soldiers. Those books are actually about teamwork and real brotherhood. Aaron Cohen may be a veteran of a great and highly respected unit in the Israeli army, but he certainly didn't learn how to be humble. You will be pissed if you buy this! I told you so!
