What is it really like to be a housewife? We all want to know, but only the women we love to watch and the people who make the show have the whole story. Well, listen in close, because they’re about to tell all.

Interesting Stories we hadn’t known!
Revisado: 03-15-22
I actually purchased this book, since I have watched these ladies for years! Wanted the scoop! My one complaint is the storyteller trying to mimic the ladies voices. It didn’t add to making the story better, and it was grating on the nerves! I personally wish the readers would stay in the lane of just telling the story, and not acting. I still would recommend this book! Loved the nitty gritty!

Elvis Always the King
Revisado: 01-10-22
I love all books Elvis, however this is my first audible book readings. Not a fan of this voice trying to tell the important facts, You don’t need to try and use different voices to make it calm! Take a chance and you will be hooked!

Historia
It was that voice, those eyes, that hair, the cars, the girls. Elvis Presley revolutionized American pop culture when, at age 21, he became a modern superstar. A Memphis Beau Brummel even before he found fame, Elvis had a personal style that, like his music, had an immediate impact on his audience that continues to influence us today.

The King Rules
Revisado: 01-04-22
I am 75, and was raised during the whole Elvis reign. I know many facts about Elvis as I remember the stories as they hit the press. This author got the facts right as I remember them. He really was special…
The author could have read it better. I wasn’t a fan of her trying to mimic the male voices. As a plus in her favor though she seemed to care about Elvis, and that came through!

Historia
Rita Hayworth was the epitome of 1940s glamour. A legendary "Love Goddess", she was a huge box-office star, and her sultry beauty and sensational figure made her into one of Hollywood's greatest sex-symbols: a pin-up so incendiary that GIs pasted it on to the first atom bomb ever detonated.

Rita Hayworth a life worth reading about….
Revisado: 12-30-21
I heard of Rita Hayworth from my mom…one of her favorite movie stars of the forties. This is one of the truly gifted movie stars of that era. It was fascinating to hear of her insecurities, and how she endured the feelings of not feeling loved. One sometimes assumes these stars have it all when actually they suffer the same feelings of loneliness, and abandonment that we all do. Being a movie star isn’t always the glamorous life we think it is…Rita’s life story is worth listening to, and one I found quite interesting! Very well narrated too.

Historia
This is the revealing portrait of a prolific singer, songwriter, and performer of country music. Mega country music hits like "City Lights" (Ray Price), "Tips of My Fingers" (Roy Clark, Eddy Arnold, Steve Wariner), "Once a Day" (Connie Smith), "Saginaw, Michigan" (Lefty Frizzell), and many more flowed from his pen, making him one of the most decorated songwriters in music history. Then he came to a point in his career when he questioned if what he had to say mattered anymore. Music Row had changed.

Country Music Star Bill Anderson did not disappoint!
Revisado: 12-29-21
Loved listening how Bill got his start in country music, and his journey from his youth to his music career was worth following! Bill was a favorite of mine as a young adult. His writing of songs was just amazing! Hearing how an ex inspired the song ‘Still’ was quite interesting. One of my favorite songs of his! I give this book high marks!
