Excellent and concise guide to NonViolent Communication methods. Short but worthwhile.
Revisado: 04-26-25
This is a good introduction to the principles of NVC, how to put them into practice. It's short, but a great guide for today's short attention spans. This is good for review or a primer for someone who wants a crash course in actual sentence construction, but not the best for someone who wants a complete and exhaustive guide, but a great beginner's book.

Philip Pullman at his finest, but it's been 5 years, where's the finale?
Revisado: 04-01-25
Lyra all grown up, yet lost her imagination, and her demon seeks to find it for her.... I am seriously disappointed to be reminded that it ends in a cliff hanger, and it hasn't been resolved 5 years after 2nd book. I absolutely loved "His Dark Materials" , is Philip Pullman going to finish this series? I've read Sally Lockhart series also. this one is compelling but why hasn't the last book been released? *t was kind for Philip to commemorate one of the souls lost in the corporate travesty of Grenfells Tower Burning, after the government and developers had cut corners, using toxic and flammable Materials inside , then the management telling them to stay inside.... so many Innocents lost... I wonder How UK will atone also for their part in the destruction of Palestine? in the Levant like where this story leaves us hanging...., was this on purpose? the UK lords in their continued support for the crimes that continue in the Levant, are erasing a people. Maybe Phillip Pullman will Work some of this loss into the last book since the finale seems to be bound to take place in the Levant. They are like the Rose that the Authority has condemned in this book.

Revisado: 09-27-24
it stood out most that I had to buy this book twice and the hack was apparent by the 3 Nexus titles in my library, 2 of which said published in 2200 on Jan, 1st. ridiculous. but the book is fabulous. this is the 3rd review I've left. after buying the 1st time I left one but the audible tech said she couldn't find it and refused to add it to my library so I bought it again. it's criminal what's going on with audible, but as you can understand from my willingness to buy it again, This book is epic.

This pulled me in and had me listening start to finish. Even though it's written from a female perspective, Frank Muller is a perfect narrator for this deep book.

Dana Dae as narrator was very convincing. she has a lovely voice and the story was compelling.

The Voice actors were fabulous in this production. I wished the female actor has been given more of the story to read, she is really talented. of course the man did a great job as well, but is female voices were parts where I was wishing for the other reader. the Story was awesome, something I found entirely plausible. great ending! redemption. I recommend it

Historia
Renowned Israeli historian Ilan Pappe's groundbreaking book revisits the formation of the State of Israel. Between 1947 and 1949, over 400 Palestinian villages were deliberately destroyed, civilians were massacred, and around a million men, women, and children were expelled from their homes at gunpoint. Denied for almost six decades, had it happened today it could only have been called "ethnic cleansing."

the general plunder, and rape of PALESTINIANS, was the standard behavior of the Zionists. pure evil from the beginning.
Revisado: 04-28-24
I wrote a review including only the facts that were taken from Ben Gourian 's diary, yet; t has been erased. It's apparent that from it's inception Israel has been decidedly terroristic, with zero regard for human rights of Palestinians. The forced transfer of land and beautiful properties was done in defiance of the partition of the land, having seized all the best lands, cities, and properties from the little bit left to the Palestinians. it was an example of the most depraved evil, but Ben Guorian knew he could get away with it because of the treatment of Jews by the Nazis. they basically did the same thing to another people. this book made me angrier, and it's clear why today's Israel is so decidedly ready to disregard human rights of Palestinians. That's what they've done since they first began.
this book needs to be read by everyone.
