Insightful and Inspiring Listen
Revisado: 12-03-18
This was an amazing audiobook that I plan to refer back to over and over. I'm glad I purchased it despite some of the negative reviews. Jen Sincero is inspiring, insightful, funny and a ray of in your face sunshine. Loved this book and the insights I gained. I wish I would have listened to it earlier. Applying her recommendations is not easy, but I'm willing to bet that those that do will see tremendous change in their outlook and life.

Narration is Horrible

What disappointed you about Nonviolent Communication?
I couldn't listen for more than 5 minutes - wish I could get my money back.
What could Marshall Rosenberg have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
It is too slow and halting...can't handle listening to it.
Any additional comments?
Can I get my money back??

Historia
Since the introduction of dietary guidelines calling for reduced fat intake in the 1970s, a strange phenomenon has occurred: Americans have steadily, inexorably become heavier, less healthy, and more prone to diabetes than ever before. After putting more than two thousand of his at-risk patients on a wheat-free regimen and seeing extraordinary results, cardiologist William Davis has come to the disturbing conclusion that it is not fat, not sugar, not our sedentary lifestyle that is causing America’s obesity epidemic—it is wheat.

What made the experience of listening to Wheat Belly the most enjoyable?
I loved the narrator - he seemed really engaged and added to the experience of the book
What was one of the most memorable moments of Wheat Belly?
This book has inspired me to strictly limit my wheat intake and to encourage others to do the same. It is amazing that wheat has a higher G.I. then candy bars! Crazy...
