Meeting the cute Aiden Stalworth, feeling guilty about trying to steal from the cute Aiden Stalworth, becoming Aiden’s “Robin Hood” and buying him all the things, playing bodyguard while searching for the stamp, and being trusted completely by Aiden. Ivan very quickly realizes he needs a new plan: seduce Aiden, protect him, find the stamp—and lick him. Licking Aiden needs to be part of the plan too.

One mage: Bel Adams–part demon, gun shy about being rejected by one again, needs a familiar. One familiar: Nico di Rossi–Army Ranger, needs a change of pace and a new purpose in life, is a golden retriever in human form (though not literally). Plus one familiar: Garen Dallarosa–Secret Service, part gargoyle, needs his ex-lover Nico back.

It’s not exactly what I’d call the ideal situation - being introduced to your bio-dad’s best mate only to realize he’s the sexy older guy you hooked up with a couple of weeks ago - but it’s also not the worst thing to ever happen in history. The way I see it, this is fate. The universe is throwing Shay Kelly in my path again because it knows how much I’ve been dying for another shag with him.
