I wanted to like this book so much and tried to listen multiple times, the reader is so boring and his voice never changes. It’s the same cadence for every sentence. I cannot stay interested. If you want to fall asleep this is the book for you

Great story narrator needs to brush up on accents

I love this story and have read it before, the narrator however butchers the New England accent and it is super hard to ignore. She goes in and out of the accent too sometimes incredibly thick and others nonexistent.

Great to find out more about the Kennedy's from a different perspective. It does seem that the book was a little biased toward painting Rose in a good light. Not sure if that would have always been the case given the amount of time she spent taking time away from her children and her level of involvement in what some would think essential childcare but it was interesting and kept my attention

great story, very well written I find that when you are listening to historical novels like this it is easy to get the characters confused but that was not the case with this book, it was easy to listen to and it kept my attention

good short stories, however the woman reading them is attempting so many different accents that it is annoying and distracting.

Good book as far as learning more about Rita Hayworth, but the story dragged a lot and the performance wasn't attention grabbing

Would you consider the audio edition of The Carrie Diaries to be better than the print version?

The book was a good listen, performance great, it doesn't have much to do with the Carrie Bradshaw we know and love from Sex and the City, didnt see a whole lot of connection but still entertaining
