Phenomenal as always

This series is fantastic at following the growth of the characters and is NEVER boring.
I love this book and the ending had me squealing. Although with anger or happiness, I won’t tell you.
Of Cats and Dragons will forever be one of my favorite series, right up there with The Lord of The Rings.

At the behest of the emperor, the rangers head north to investigate. They discover that the invaders are a group of Temujai—a reconnaissance force searching for a place to penetrate and invade. So Will and Maddie must split up to gather forces and information in order to push the Temujai back once again.

Not really about the Royal Ranger

As much as I love Flanagan and the wonderful world he created, our Royal Ranger was not the center of this story. Most of it was Will and his problems, there wasn’t a lot of seeing Maddie grow into a ranger. Also, I feel as if this story is the same as all the other Temuji stories and not all the unique. Kind of disappointed in this one.

LOVED IT! But...

I really enjoyed this book. What I can't say I enjoyed was listening to the sexual comments made in EVERY chapter. I personally am not comfortable having anyone younger than 15 read this, let alone listen to it.
Everything else was great. The characters, the banter, the use of words and the great descriptions!
