Historia
It's the foundation of any enduring relationship between friends, lovers, spouses, and families. But when trust is placed in those who are not what they seem, the results can be deadly. Ann Rule, who famously chronicled her own shocking experience of unknowingly befriending a sociopath in The Stranger Beside Me, offers a riveting, all-new collection from her true-crime files, with the lethally shattered bonds of trust at the core of each blood-soaked account.

wrong lead story
Revisado: 03-26-25
With a title like this you'd expect the main story to be about someone breaking undeniable trust but that isn't the case. The man who was shot by his wife never seemed to trust her nor did his friends. He even told a friend he regretted marrying her. Unfortunately the more interesting stories here, like the Cowden family murders, take the back seat to a run of the mill murder with no twists or surprises.

too much effort in being a Freemasonry apologist
Revisado: 03-21-25
For years I've explored secret societies and what they believe so I wanted to check this one out. If you look into the symbolic meanings behind the symbols used in secret societies you do see common threads. Their meanings are hidden or occult. The only God they believe in is the intellect or wisdom. (Which is why they idinize King Solomon so much. )
Overall way too much time was spent making straw man arguments against conspiracy theories and not enough on the history of Freemasonry or what the symbols mean.
I'll end this review with one last clue. If they worship the intellect, they name "Freemasons for Dummies" must be telling the audience something. something hidden
