Excellent Audio for Rand’s Insightful, Edifying Tome

Rand’s magnum opus is well worth the perseverance, though it barely ever feels like perseverance. It is hard not to be impressed by the effort undertaken to write this book, not just because of its length but also because of the quality of writing throughout, its plethora of compelling syllogisms, and the story’s sustained coherence. You become immersed in the story with the characters and can identify with their logic - and therefore them. This should be required reading/listening for every young adult who doesn’t think for themselves as a way to expose them to what it means to be a valuable individual. An amazing story with a heap of insights into human nature. I do not agree with absolutely everything about Rand’s philosophy (I think it neglects some parts of the human experience), but for what she accounts for she is a force to be reckoned with regardless of your own views in the matter.

Also, Hurt’s reading is clear (I listened to it on 1.75x speed) and somehow manages to cover unannounced changes in speakers. An excellent complement to Rand’s prose.

Historical background provided. Seems a quality take for a generally pro-Israel POV. Would appreciate an anti-israel companion for comparison.
