I'm not sure why I first picked up Sal's book for the first time but I'm glad I did. he does not disappoint. I'm hooked. the only problem is that the prices are high and for that reason I try to find books that require more hours to finish. I like to feel I got my money's worth especially when the writing is good. I also like your after thoughts Sal. great book as always

This is a story that got better as it went on started out slow but in the gathering got bigger and better and in the end it was a pretty good story not to give it a b+.

Great Story

this was an unexpected pleasure. I don't normally even listen to this genre. but I was happy I decided to give this one a listen. the characters were pretty good the narrator was ok. hard to get in the beginning but chapter two it gets you interested. From there hooked.

I just like the fact that I kept on going with plenty of action all throughout the whole book kind of a sad ending but still pretty good I think that the old blonde haired dude got what he had coming to him and he had to it's true they shouldn't have any rights after what they do if you kill more than 200 people you should be just tortured to death not killed instantly or have any rights. that's my opinion

This was a small group of like minded, young people finding their way in life and because of where they were they had enough brain power to recognize their surroundings and what it all ment
The danger of knowing it could all be gone in an instant made them understand how precious life was. the underside the value of loving their family's. they understood the value of friendship. They all had respect for their peers, both above and below them in rank. they all supported each other . Truly they all had a firm grasp what life was about. we all should ever be greatful to have even a small portion of what they had. the world around us all would be a better place for us, for everyone.

The twisted plot

there is a good lesson to be learned here. I think this book would resonate with anyone who has a strong sense of family and a deep love for their children as well as a need to protect them from the world. all men desire to be the hero of the family and the hero on the neighborhood.
this is a great story.
