Retirement. Downsizing. Selling your business. Children leaving the nest. Layoffs. A major health event. Losing a loved one. Important life transitions remind us of what once “was,” leaving large gaps of free time and less to look forward to in the future. Afterwork acknowledges these tectonic shifts and offers revealing insights, powerful disciplines, and practical applications to help you step forward into a new and remarkably fulfilling season―regardless of how you’ve defined “work.”

Best preparation for retirement
Revisado: 07-17-24
Of the five books I have read on retirement. This is the best. The authors have a wealth of knowledge based on personal interaction with Manny retirees. They have identified clearly the main issues, obstacles and challenges. We face and retirement. very helpful. I highly recommend the book.

The insights from research are compelling and helpful
Revisado: 03-24-24
I really love this book because it answers so many questions I have about feedback, especially receiving it well. The one downside is the length and amount of detail covered. You would need a coach, a workshop, or a well-developed workbook to apply these helpful insights

Historia
In recent years, a set of ideas rooted in postmodernism and neo-Marxist critical theory have merged into a comprehensive worldview. Labeled “social justice” by its advocates, it has radically redefined the popular understanding of justice. This book aims to replace confusion with clarity by holding up the counterfeit worldview and the Biblical worldview side-by-side, showing how significantly they differ in their core presuppositions. It challenges Christians to offer a better alternative which shapes cultures marked by genuine justice, mercy, forgiveness.

The truth that helps and hurts
Revisado: 10-16-23
The authors, careful research, analysis, and conclusions are disturbing, but so necessary. This book helps you to focus. Your energy is in a positive direction toward Biblically based change.
