Historia
Hazel Hart was a successful romance novelist until a breakup drives her straight into writer’s block. Having failed (and failed some more) to deliver her new manuscript, she’s hiding from the world behind a wall of old takeout containers until her publisher lays down the law. If she misses her next deadline it’s The End. Desperate for inspiration, Hazel impulse-buys a historic home online and flees Manhattan to tiny Story Lake, PA. Upon her dramatic arrival—involving an incident with a bald eagle—she discovers the charm of her new home may have been slightly exaggerated.

Historia
When the body of single mother Melissa Rollins is found, trapped inside a bedroom closet in her immaculate suburban home, Detective Jo Fournier races to the scene. The small town of Greenfern is sweltering in a heat wave, and Jo is horrified to find that Melissa’s heating was turned up to the max while she died of thirst. Who would kill a devoted mother in such a cruel way? Searching the house for clues, Jo’s team discovers that the front door was locked from the inside. And with no sign of a break-in, they realize the killer must have been someone Melissa knew.

Touching and Transparent
Revisado: 11-04-22
As if I didn’t already love Matthew/Chandler enough…. Could I be anymore in love with him? I’m not normally a big celebrity fan, but he is very endearing. His honesty was raw and you can tell it’s from the heart. It makes me want to hug him. He’s been through so much, I pray he stays on the sober side of things and has a long and happy life. Great read!
