Historia
After appearing on The Apprentice years ago and receiving a flood of letters from young women asking for guidance, I realized the need for more female leaders to speak out publicly in order to change the way society thinks and talks about "women who work". So I created a forum to do just that. This book evolves the conversation that started on IvankaTrump.com, where so many incredible women (and men!) have shared their experiences, advice, ambitions, and passions.

Balanced and honest review here.

What did you like best about Women Who Work? What did you like least?
Some of Ivanka's personal stories give a nice flavor and background to her and to the book respectively. I would have liked more personal stories interwoven with the lessons learned from the masters of the business. Overall this was not good enough to make it stand out.
If you’ve listened to books by Ivanka Trump before, how does this one compare?
I have not.
Have you listened to any of Kathleen McInerney and Ivanka Trump ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Kathleen does fine she carried the "story" for me. I do think Ivanka should have narrated the whole thing.
Could you see Women Who Work being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
No.
Any additional comments?
Full spirit of disclosure. I like Trump and I think he is doing good for this country. I have also bought a satirical magazine of Trump. So I like the man and I can laugh at him as well.
If you are looking for inspiration there is just not enough here. A few good tidbits, but not enough of a desert to make a whole meal.
Sorry, I cannot give this more then 3 stars for the content.

Historia
A clear-sighted revelation, a deep penetration into the world of Scientology by the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of The Looming Tower, the now-classic study of al-Qaeda’s 9/11 attack. Based on more than two hundred personal interviews with current and former Scientologists—both famous and less well known—and years of archival research, Lawrence Wright uses his extraordinary investigative ability to uncover for us the inner workings of the Church of Scientology.

Portrait of a sad pathetic mad little man.
Revisado: 05-09-17
Would you listen to Going Clear again? Why?
Chapter 4 out of 15 and already writing a great review. I would definitely listen to it again. The narrators cadence is great and the story is well written. Definitely will not fall asleep to this one like some other books.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Going Clear?
Incantation of the wand... listen for yourself I will not spoil it
What does Morton Sellers bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Cadence and pitch changes, and he pauses in just the right moments. Please continue to employ this man!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No, because I am unable unless it is the weekend.
Any additional comments?
If you ever wanted to find out about Hubbard or why Scientology is how it is you NEED to get this.

Historia
Dolly Kyle met former president Clinton ("Billy", as she calls him) on a Hot Springs golf course when she was 11 and he was almost 13. It was colpo de fulmine (the thunderbolt) at first sight. Their friendship grew throughout high school and college. It became a decades-long affair that lasted despite marriages and politics - all the way to the threshold of the White House, when she became a political liability and he threatened to destroy her, as Hillary had done to so many of his other women over the years.

Make up your own mind.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
In the spirit of full disclosure I tend to lean conservative after learning about the Europes migrant crisis.
Now, I like to listen to the truth about the Clintons. This book, well accounted and without prejudice is an impartial look into who Hillary and Bill really are- very dark people.
Listen and make up your own mind.
If you are a Hillary apologist, you might never believe her but it is well worth listen.
What about Teri Schnaubelt’s performance did you like?
Interesting and engaging.
What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?
Hillary characterized as frumpy and smelly woman who looked middle aged.
