Last half of story got moving. Characters individualized, relationships built. You were finally drawn into story.

Dislike. It took too long to set up the scene. No individual people to root for.

Most disappointing
Revisado: 03-21-25
Always loved Alex Delaware novels.
This one was terrible. It must have been at the very beginning of the series. Alex’s relationship with girlfriend, which runs through all the other novels adds a lot to those. The relationship takes so much away from this book. They don’t get along and it’s is just a simple but very negative space filling portion of the story. Adds nothing to the book.
Also not a narrator I recognized from any other reading, let alone a Kellerman novel, and I have over 700 books in my library. But, I will not buy a book that uses this narrator. Even if you LOVE the Delaware series, I’d save your money. I am asking for mine back.
I just didn’t have the time to keep calling Audible sooner, their computer has been down and couldn’t get through. First time in 7 years that has happened. Audible is great, just frustrating getting stuck with a poor book. Hope this gets you to think twice before purchasing Silent Partner by Kellermen.

Loved this book, even though it was outside my normal genre. This book stood out out above so many others. Love a book that draws you in and keeps you wanting more.

This has been my favorite book so far this year. Mystery, passion, twists and definitely surprises.
Great narrator for this book. And that makes or breaks a book for me.
Less than two days constantly listening to to finish it. I have been an audible member for over 5 years, with close to 700 books in my library. This will immediately go to best/favorites to be enjoyed and.
Usually i like more toward police procedurals, or court room dramas rather than a book that has so much emotion. But this is definitely one that shouldn’t be missed.
Thank you author and narrator for all your hard work..

When she was sixteen years old, Angela Wong—one of the most popular girls in school—disappeared without a trace. Nobody ever suspected that her best friend, Georgina Shaw, now an executive and rising star at her Seattle pharmaceutical company, was involved in any way. Certainly not Kaiser Brody, who was close with both girls back in high school.

Really liked the complex personality development. The story line was good, especially with the different environments that become as fill out as the personalities. The prison is some of the scariest part of the story.

Very much enjoyed this book. First time with this author. Highly recommend you give him a try. I am looking forward to seeing if his other work is as interesting. I listen to about 12 books a month, so always looking for new authors, since I have over 500 books in my library. If second book by this author is as good as this , I’ll probably get all of his books.

Historia
Rare-book dealer Ashlyn Greer’s affinity for books extends beyond the intoxicating scent of old paper, ink, and leather. She can feel the echoes of the books’ previous owners—an emotional fingerprint only she can read. When Ashlyn discovers a pair of beautifully bound volumes that appear to have never been published, her gift quickly becomes an obsession. Not only is each inscribed with a startling incrimination, but the authors, Hemi and Belle, tell conflicting sides of a tragic romance.

One of the best books I have have so far this year. Usually listening to 2-4 books a week.
This is not my regular genre, mystery/thriller
Is my corner, but this was a great diversion, and reminded me to look at lit/fiction.
Highly recommend m. Not a standard romance at all. So don’t pass this good book up because you don’t listen to romance.

The Earl of St. Merryn needs a woman. His intentions are purely practical - he simply wants someone sensible and suitably lovely to pose as his betrothed for a few weeks among polite society. He has his own agenda to pursue, and a false fiancée will keep the husband-hunters at bay while he goes about his business. The simplest solution is to hire a paid companion. Finding the right candidate proves more of a challenge than he expected.

A most enjoyable book in a very different genre than I amused to. I am no normally a listening of romance or the past. This book was a pleasant mix of both. I highly recommend it. The book was a great break from my mysteries and thrillers.

Great book! Not usually my genre, but this was fun, scary and different! All the characters with their own voices really brought this to life. Much better than a single narrator. Take a break and enjoy… not to gory. Just right!
