Historia
An inheritance has reunited three estranged cousins. Their grandmother Lucy left Nessa, Flynn, and April her cabin nestled in the woods near Blossom, Texas, as well as a hope chest to be unlocked after they complete a special task. Together, they must hand stitch a cherished quilt Lucy left unfinished. It meant everything to her. And now, to three people struggling with their own patchwork pasts.

Family drama, not just a love story. The love story was not the focus.
Revisado: 01-29-25
I liked it all, most families have drama, mine included! It was a good read all the way around.

Historia
Eight-year-old Brooklyn Mercer has gone missing. And as accustomed as FBI agents Eliza Sterling and Brandon Eddison are to such harrowing cases, this one has struck a nerve. It marks the anniversary of the disappearance of Eddison’s own little sister. Disturbing, too, is the girl’s resemblance to Eliza - so uncanny they could be mother and daughter. With Eddison’s unsettled past rising again with rage and pain, Eliza is determined to solve this case at any cost. But the closer she looks, the more reluctant she is to divulge to her increasingly shaken partner what she finds.

This book like all of Dot Hutchison’s books was difficult to put down. She pulls me in from the start! The characters are familiar even though they be from previous books and bring the stories back to mind. I look forward to the next book.

I enjoyed the interaction between mother & daughter.
I did feel like more details about the son were
needed, but it all came together further into the book.

Good book, poor recording
Revisado: 03-27-16
The story was great, well developed but certainly could have been written without the 'f' bomb dropped so many times. The story would have been just as good, maybe better with out it.
Also, in several spots the recording skipped & jumped as if the cd were scratched. It was an Audible recording not a cd.
