Historia
A few decades into the digital era, scientists discovered that thinking in terms of computation made possible an entirely new way of organizing scientific investigation; eventually, every field had a computational branch: computational physics, computational biology, computational sociology. More recently, "computational thinking" has become part of the K-12 curriculum. But what is computational thinking? This volume in the MIT Press Essential Knowledge series offers an accessible overview.

Too slow, repetitive for professional programmers
Revisado: 04-06-21
We just aren't the intended audience. This is more directed at other professionals who wonder how programming might impact their fields and lives.

Know they audience
Revisado: 07-08-20
This is reasonable organizational advice wrapped in a bunch of god bothering claptrap. Other sources have the same info with less preaching.

Historia
Why is Red Bull so popular, though everyone—everyone!—hates the taste? Humans are, in a word, irrational, basing decisions as much on subtle external signals (that little blue can) as on objective qualities (flavor, price, quality). The surrounding world, meanwhile, is irreducibly complex and random. This means future success can’t be projected on any accounting spreadsheet. To strike gold, you must master the dark art and curious science of conjuring irresistible ideas: alchemy.

Revisado: 03-02-20
interesting arguments undermined by suspect data that support wanted conclusions
At least its provocative, but I'm not sure its corrector useful.

Don't think of this as a book...
Revisado: 05-13-16
The author doesn't. This is the first part of a 9 book 3 volume cycle. There's a whole lot of set up and not a lot of action in this one. If you enjoyed this but felt let down by lack of plot keep going it'll get there.
