Historia
On a travel story about Benedict Arnold, freelance reporter Jack McMorrow traces the route of the infamous historical figure up the Kennebec River into Quebec, Canada. When a man fails to rejoin his bus tour in the Northern Maine town of Scanesett, Jack makes a pit stop there to help authorities find him and soon finds himself entangled with a bunch of lethal small-town hoods who make bad sport of the weak and defenseless. Threatened, beaten up, and forced into a terrifying game of redneck hide-and-seek, McMorrow faces his most ruthless criminals yet.

Great Series!
Revisado: 03-12-19
This is not my first McMorrow Mystery, and I'll keep coming back for more. Our hero is just trying to write a story about Benedict Arnold, but manages to become waylaid by what seems to be a mystery in a small Maine town - where did the guy go who just disappeared off of a tour bus headed to Quebec? Plenty of local characters get involved in the story, and Jack finds himself in various scrapes. The surprise introduction of a ten year old boy character provides a nice counterpoint to the consistent set of characters that populate this series. Another excellent story.

Historia
In this, the latest installment of the popular Jack McMorrow mystery series, veteran author Gerry Boyle takes his readers into territory all-too-familiar from the daily headlines: illegal gun sales, culture clashes between old and new, cyberbullying, and the random acts of violence that pose a real threat to even the closest of communities. Prosperity, Maine is no longer the refuge from the real world that it once was, and Jack, and his wife, Roxanne, will be forced to face their most destructive enemies yet each other.

Loved it!
Revisado: 12-22-17
I've been a fan of the Jack McMorrow books for years. I'm glad they're finally coming to audio! Story is a page-turner (ha ha), and the narration is spot-on. Don't miss this great series!

Historia
Retired Maine Game Warden John Ford has seen it all. He's been shot at by desperate prison escapees, been outwitted by wily trappers, and rescued scores of animals. As a tenacious and successful warden, he was always willing to spend the time needed to nab violators of the state's fish and game laws.

This was just a lot of fun
Revisado: 12-18-16
Northwoods Law fans will really love this. Warden Ford's adventures are everything from hilarious to sublime (jumping accidentally into a lake out of a plane to raising baby owls), and a twenty year career gave him a lot of stories, and these are great ones. We felt right in the woods with him, and this is one of the boys' favorites.
