Wow! I’m an avid audio listener while simultaneously reading the words or jumping back and forth between audio and kindle so I was skeptical if I would like this as an audio only but OMG IM CONVERTED. I loved this story. I loved this performance. I loved the production. I listened to the whole thing in a day and a morning because I couldn’t stop. It’s fun. It’s compelling. It’s lovely. It’s heartfelt and sweet. Such an excellent story.

This story is excellent. One of the best slow burns I’ve read probably ever. The story is predictable overall but there are so many details that caught me off guard.
The audio of this book though… the female reader was great. No issues there. But wow the male voice seemed forced and fake. If that won’t bother you, it’s definitely worth the listen. He’s probably less that 1/4 of the narrative but it’s jarring every time he speaks and not in a good way. Overall would still recommend.

If you have personally ever struggled with any aspect of body image or self esteem - this episode is for you. Alicia is so articulate and straight forward in her advice and sharing of her experience. This podcast episode came with so many “ah-ha!” moments for me. I am so appreciative of Chris and Alicia for coming together and sharing this episode with the world. This podcast is an excellent way to get to know Chris, other popular, powerful and interesting content creators.
