An Excellent Book
Revisado: 11-18-20
Really liked the book. I recommend it. negotiation skills is a thing that every person has to know, it's communication, you need to know how to get along with your partner, how to understand them.
On a personal level, I think this is useful for understanding better your partner - wife or girl, as they are many a times not rational and very emotional. You have to pay closer attention to the deeper meanings of what they want to say, the reason to why they are upset. Then, negotiate a solution.

Historia
Levitt and co-author Stephen J. Dubner show that economics is, at root, the study of incentives: how people get what they want, or need, especially when other people want or need the same thing. In Freakonomics, they explore the hidden side of...well, everything. The inner working of a crack gang...the truth about real-estate agents...the secrets of the Klu Klux Klan. What unites all these stories is a belief that the modern world is even more intriguing than we think. All it takes is a new way of looking, and Freakonomics will redefine the way we view the modern world.

Very Good
Revisado: 11-06-20
A good book. Interesting facts and stories. At the end was a bit repetitive as the attached the later addition. But in general it's a recommendation. I haven't known much about economics until now. Now I feel I got a glimpse into an economists view of the world.

Historia
In his landmark best seller The Tipping Point, Malcolm Gladwell redefined how we understand the world around us. Now, in Blink, he revolutionizes the way we understand the world within. Blink is a book about how we think without thinking, about choices that seem to be made in an instant, in the blink of an eye, that actually aren't as simple as they seem. Why are some people brilliant decision makers, while others are consistently inept?

Great

Mr. Gladwell always makes we gasp with amazement. Stop and think over things I might have had at the back of my mind, but were put together in his books. His books are fresh relevant and I love them. Thank you!

Historia
Explore the power of the underdog in Malcolm Gladwell's dazzling examination of success, motivation, and the role of adversity in shaping our lives, from the best-selling author of The Bomber Mafia. Three thousand years ago on a battlefield in ancient Palestine, a shepherd boy felled a mighty warrior with nothing more than a stone and a sling, and ever since then the names of David and Goliath have stood for battles between underdogs and giants. David's victory was improbable and miraculous. He shouldn't have won. Or should he have?

A great book!
Revisado: 04-15-20
Wasn't easy at first. The descriptions are very elaborate and seemed tiresome. But gradually I got used to it, and started to like the book. The insight into people's way of thinking and feelings are very intricate, letting you see the world from their perspective. In Tolstoi's world I couldn't find a person who was completely bad or completely good, every personage has his own character with it's brighter and darker sides, every person has good and bad within him. In general I was really drawn into the story and enjoyed the reading. I now understand why it's considered a classic.

Historia
In this stunning audiobook, Malcolm Gladwell takes us on an intellectual journey through the world of "outliers" - the best and the brightest, the most famous, and the most successful. He asks the question: What makes high-achievers different? His answer is that we pay too much attention to what successful people are like, and too little attention to where they are from: That is, their culture, their family, their generation, and the idiosyncratic experiences of their upbringing.
