Historia
Bob Odenkirk’s career is inexplicable. And yet he will try like hell to explicate it for you. Charting a “Homeric” decades-long “odyssey” from his origins in the seedy comedy clubs of Chicago to a dramatic career full of award nominations - with a side trip into the action-man world that is baffling to all who know him - it’s almost like there are many Bob Odenkirks! But there is just one and one is plenty. Featuring humorous tangents, wild characters, and Bob’s trademark unflinching drive, Comedy Comedy Comedy Drama is a classic tale told by a determined idiot.

Good inside info... Agitating read
Revisado: 09-09-22
loved the director's view.... but the narration was a constant distraction. Beginner narrators are often told by friends and family 'Your pronunciation is perfect " so they think more is better. Manasche's constant over-articulation is grinding and time consuming to the point of being a big distraction.

Leonardo DiCaprio. Alex Rodriguez. Tobey Maguire. Affleck. Damon. Cassavetes. What do these people have in common? Not just fame and fortune; all these men are also alumni of the ultra-exclusive, high-stakes poker ring that inspired Aaron Sorkin's Oscar-nominated film, Molly's Game. But Houston Curtis, the card shark who co-founded the game with Tobey Maguire, knows that Sorkin's is the whitewashed version. In Billion Dollar Hollywood Heist, Curtis goes all-in, revealing the true story behind the game.

Poker Player or Not,. You'll luv this audiobook!!!
Revisado: 07-17-22
I don't play poker, but I am in the TV business and I really liked Molly's Game.... This is 10 times better. Also, unlike a lot of the audiobooks, even the Reader did a very good job. I listen to audiobooks almost every day while I work-out, and I have for years. This is absolutely Top 3 out of 100's that I've listened to. Lots of inside Hollywood and gambling details without being boring... and completely believable. I just finished listening and I almost want to start it over and listen again! Do not hesitate to get more than your money's worth. Listen now! ¯\_( ͡❛ ͜ʖ ͡❛)_/¯

Was hoping for lot's of BTS info, but after the first hour it got preachy and all personal about the author growing up with little to do with Showbiz. I didn't want to know all about her non-showbiz life.

interesting perspective.... horrible performance
Revisado: 05-01-19
This is a mildly interesting book, plagued with a horrible performance. A couple mispronunciations are not the end of the world, but this guy seems to be trying to set records. It's very distracting and it reflects negatively on the book. At some point you just have to admit the guy sounds uneducated. Whoever the Producer was had to be just as bad to let the errors slide by. Is it that they are paid so little that a professional air-talent/broadcaster or actor would not do it? The more we accept this low quality.... The more we will get.

Slow start, but the middle and end are great
Revisado: 03-19-19
Exhausting to get through the initial "Hamburger Helper" filler info about every single breath he took growing up..On the Up side....A Fantastic performance/read by a professional broadcaster is something very special in the current environment that values "Looks" over even the most basic communication skills. If he started just before the K-Rock days, this would be excellent. Very well written, as well. Thank you Richard... We luv you.... You know why we got the book. Just give us what we came for and don't make us jump through hoops to get it.
